There are holiday appetizers that are specific to certain festive seasons. For instance, you cannot have a Halloween party without crawly cookies, and labor day without chicken wings. You can crate Santa using strawberries, make perky olive penguins from olives, Christmas cheese trees by combining various cheese and sauces like pesto. Other creative snacks such as pine cones and snowman cheese can be made from cheese. For those minding their weights, there are various low fat recipes. They include; apple butter on low fat cracker with slices of gourmet cheese, marmalade, and pears and low fat cheddar cheese. There are also lean varieties such as ham and low fat meats.
